FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has directed a crackdown on unauthorised car dealerships operating in Abuja’s designated green areas.
NAN reported that the minister announced a specialised task force after inspecting projects in the capital. He warned that vehicles found in protected green areas could be impounded and auctioned, while illegal sites could be shut down.
Wike also alleged that some unauthorised operators obtained fraudulent allocation papers from officials without ministerial approval. The enforcement plan places development control, protection of public spaces, and administrative accountability at the centre of the latest FCT action.
